Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 July 2026 App: Amnty (iOS) · Provider: Elias Ripari This text was prepared to be accurate for Amnty, but it is not legal advice. We recommend having it reviewed by a lawyer before launch.

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

The Amnty app is provided by Elias Ripari ("we", the "Provider"). These Terms of Use govern the relationship between you (the "User") and the Provider regarding your use of the app. Contact: eliasripari@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Amnty you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not limit the mandatory rights granted to you by law (see section 13).

3. Licence and Apple's rules

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Amnty on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the App Store Usage Rules. Because the app is distributed through the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, available here: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In case of conflict between these Terms and Apple's standard EULA, Apple's EULA prevails for the matters it governs. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content; however, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce these Terms against you.

4. What the app does (and does not do)

Amnty is solely a reminder tool for noting money you need to receive or pay between people. Important: Amnty does not transfer, collect, or handle money; does not connect to banks, cards, or payment networks; and does not provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. The data you enter is simply notes: the accuracy of amounts, dates, and information is your responsibility. Amnty is not legal proof of a debt or credit.

5. Account and requirements

6. "Amnty Pro" subscription

Some features require a paid subscription called Amnty Pro, offered as an auto-renewable subscription through Apple in-app purchases.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the app for unlawful purposes; enter illegal, defamatory, or rights-infringing content; attempt unauthorized access to systems; decompile or reverse-engineer beyond what the law allows; or overload or disrupt the service. You are solely responsible for the content you enter.

8. Intellectual property

The app, the name "Amnty", the design, trademarks, and code belong to the Provider or its licensors. The content you enter remains yours: we claim no ownership over it.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties that it will be error-free, always available, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing in this section limits the statutory guarantees of conformity and other mandatory rights of consumers under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) and applicable EU law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or lost profits arising from the use of or inability to use the app, nor for decisions made based on the reminders you enter. Nothing excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, for example in cases of intent or gross negligence, or personal injury. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Changes to the Terms and the app

We may update the app and these Terms, for example for technical, legal, or security reasons. For significant changes we will update the date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance, without prejudice to your statutory rights.

12. Termination

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access in cases of serious breach of these Terms or for legal obligations.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, the more favourable mandatory rules of your country of residence still apply, and for disputes the courts of your place of residence or domicile have jurisdiction, as provided by the Italian Consumer Code. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of the mandatory protections granted by law.
